5 Signs Your Soul Has Reincarnated

Reincarnation is not a new idea and it isn’t purely religious either. It began in India with Hinduism, Jainism, Buddhism, and Sikhism and has spread around the world to become both a religious and a philosophical belief.
Reincarnation is the concept that our soul never dies, in fact, we keep coming back to earth in different forms to learn new lessons and explore different parts of the physical realm.
The details surrounding reincarnation can differ from person to person however I believe that we don’t just reincarnate as humans/animals here on Earth, but into other dimensions/realities and parts of the Universe as well.
Not everyone believes that we can reincarnate into animals, but there are cases and at least 1 properly researched and documented case made by Ian Stevenson on a child who remembered the person who killed him as a snake, and his accusation was confirmed. You’ll need to read the full book here on that story as I can’t do it justice.
One main criticism of reincarnation is the population boom we are in right now. There has literally never been this many people on the Earth before, however, if you take into account all the animals killed in the food industry, and souls from other dimensions/planets and Universes, well - that argument doesn’t quite hold up anymore.

Now, let’s jump into the good stuff!
In this post I’ll be covering 5 ways you can tell that your soul has reincarnated, so let’s crack into it!
1. You’re inexplicably drawn to a certain place or culture
Do you have a deep longing to visit a particular country or city? Or maybe you consume everything you can about a particular culture?
Sometimes, we live more than once in a place, and the memories and feelings associated become deeply embedded in our soul’s memories. We then search the world for that feeling, seeking the nostalgia of that one place. You may find yourself cooking a lot of Japanese food, watching Japanese movies and even traveling to Japan many times in your life.
Or like me, I have this particular draw to Louisiana, cannot get enough of the place, regardless how much time I spend in the state. I find myself reading books set in the south, watching movies from the South, cooking Cajun and Creole foods and obsessing over the architecture and plants that grow in the areas of Louisiana. Whenever I step foot on Louisiana soil, it feels like coming home.
I now know I’ve had 2 prior lives in that part of the world, and it makes so much sense to me now.
2. You have recurring dreams
This is a really common one to have. The dreams may be traumatic, potentially reliving your last moments in one of your lives like running from a tidal wave. Or they could be really mundane, like picking cotton in a field or sweeping a dirt floor.
If it’s something you’re sure you haven’t done in this life, and doesn’t seem to explain what’s going on in your life currently, then it is most likely a past life memory that you’re recalling.

3. You feel a pull towards other time periods
Similar to feeling drawn to a place, this one often means you lived a couple of lives in that time OR had a particularly happy life back then.
You may adore the 1920’s and bring elements of the fashion and literature into this life. Or potentially have an obsession with ancient Greece or even the 1800s. This pull towards a particular time period can show that you had a lot of fun before this reincarnation.
4. Strange fears
Sometimes we’re born with weird fears. My daughter, had a fear of the bath from the day she was born. Even now, 3 years later, she is terrified of water on her face and I think this is something she’s brought from a previous life.
Other people may have weird phobias, that have no known cause in this lifetime like a phobia of volcanoes or driving a car. Often these fears and phobias are a result of a traumatic event or even the cause of a death in a past life.
Sometimes these fears pop up later in life, like a sudden fear of choking when you turn 23. This may mean you passed away by choking, at that age in a previous life. The age seems to trigger the fear response to that traumatic memory that your soul has.
Often past life regression therapy and the confirmation that this fear is NOT from this life, is the best place to move on from these fears.
5. Strange talents or language skills
One of the most fascinating signs that you have reincarnated is a proficiency for certain languages or even certain skills. Like the toddler who had an insane proficiency with golf and became pro whilst still only a child. Some people have been known to speak languages fluently, without ever being exposed to them! There are some incredible studies of xenoglossy, some of which are documented here and if you look into the work of Ian Stevenson you can discover some incredible evidence that he has collected of children who have reincarnated with this talent.
